The Larondina Company - who we are

It consists of 11 young people with Down’s Syndrome who are trained dancers with artistic sense, combined with a will to succeed and to perform in public. They offer true entertainment.

As they present their choreographed dances with much joy and sensitivity, the dancers, quite unaware, also make a subtle appeal to those watching them. Audiences are known to have changed their old perceptions and come to see the nature and abilities of Down’s Syndrome people in a new light.

The company has performed on a variety of platforms in the United Kingdon and abroad. It has often responded to public demand, has been included in dance conventions, medical conferences and civic as well as charity fundraising events. The company has networked with organizations in the UK and abroad and has demonstrated its methods to teachers and carers.
